Thus, the algorithms developed (below) and used in this study to normalise the raw data allowed us to compare relative intensity values in the spectra.
The maximum values in the spectra of deviation from the 33-profility [Equation (3)] do not exceed a figure of one (D33 < 1) that illustrated in Fig. 3a for chicken Apo A-IV.
The test-period from the spectrum of heterogeneity structure, indicated by the first maximal value in the spectrum of character preservation level, is considered to be an estimate of periodicity pattern size for region periodicity (see Figure 1).
Fragment mass values in the EDD spectrum that are 18.01 and 79.97 Da higher than mass values in the CAD spectrum can thus confidently be assigned as d and w ions, respectively (see Table S2 in the Supporting Information).
The integrated Raman intensities of these bands, normalized to the same acquisition time and retaining the same focal plane for all measurements show distinctly different abundance behavior with temperature and pressure relative to the value in the spectra of single phase fluid (Fig. 6c).
The frequency components with relative amplitudes greater than 0.7 (corresponding to half of the maximum value in the spectra) are chosen as dominant frequencies [ 47].
In a military context, hyperspectral imaging captures hundreds of values in the electromagnetic spectrum which enable scientists to identify objects without sending them to a laboratory.
An additional comment is that the components with higher values in the amplitude spectrum, representing the spatial frequencies that carry more energy, are low-frequency components.
To assess the correlation between the clinical irregularity scores and lacunarity values, Spearman's rank correlation was calculated using an index of 1 to 6 for clinical irregularity scores, and lacunarity values in the red spectrum at intermediate box size for each image.
