New York values, just like those of other world cities, are the values of optimism, diversity and tenacity we should all aspire to, and cities at their best are an expression of humans at their best.
In these troubled times, when our economic and security status quos register very low on the scale, and our confidence in government to help remedy these ills is off the scale completely, we are in dire need not of negation but of the quintessential American values of optimism and fortitude.
This still gave very small values of Optimism internal, which wrongly suggested negligible optimism.
