Unit labor cost (ULC) is defined as labor compensation per unit of value added.1 As it captures labor cost required to produce one unit of value added, it is widely accepted as an appropriate measure of cost competitiveness for a producer.2 ULC is often computed for industries and countries.
The specific labour productivities4 are then linked to the numbers of workers from past years to permit determination of the employment effects accrued from the value added [19].
To gain a more detailed understanding, the portion of the regional effect ∑ i s ij [g(E ij ) − g(E i )] in (3) is resolved into the degree of energy intensity and the real gross product (value added).3
Of the total municipal value added, 4.4 million euros resulted from the after-tax profits of the participating enterprises and 4.1 million euros from the net incomes of the employees involved.
For Pravastatin other variables did not add more than 0.68percentt when entered in the model, for Timolol "baseline value" added 3.93 and "study size" 2.48percentt.

The k values adding 1.0 mM oxalic acid were significantly and positively correlated to BET surface area and soil pH (P < 0.01), while k values adding 1.0 mM Fe(II) were related to total Fe (P < 0.001).

As we decide to construct our networks on the basis of C&T- (1) value added and (2) labor directly embodied in C&T-trade flows, matrix ({overline{W}}) has to be weighted with these two variables.
