"Hard skills in programming and software development for us are really valuable," says Hawes.
"She's not naturally a public figure, but everything she says is extremely considered and valuable," says the Southbank Centre's head of classical music, Gillian Moore.
"Because of development pressure and Charleston's economic growth, the land became too valuable," says Max Hill III, a development consultant whose family has preserved a plantation in the area.
"Before the Japanese got involved, you just identified 40's, 50's and 60's jeans as different, but not necessarily more or less valuable," says Seth Weisser, co-owner of the SoHo vintage boutique What Comes Around Goes Around.
"The NVA is incredibly valuable," says Pugh. "It is the only UK institution of its size that's consistently championed the cultural and experimental work going on in the games space".
"Twentieth-century buildings are harder to defend because people think they are not that old and thus not valuable," says Ksenia Apel, 36, an art historian who attended the protest because she is worried about the future of a 1920s ballet school in her local Khamovniki district.
