Compared with our previous study EDE, TDA-EDE reduces computation efforts to around 1/3 of that of EDE by compensation of DCO with time domain average approach before estimation of CFO, and improves accuracy of I/ Qimbalance estimation and DCO estimation by validation of estimated I/ Qimbalance according to its practical range.
These improvements are achieved by compensation of DCO before estimation of CFO and I/ Qimbalance, and validation of estimated I/ Qimbalance according to its practical range.
Such information was useful for penetration analysis, class identification, and validation of estimated stream travel times.
The second and third improvements of TDA-EDE are achieved mainly by validation of estimated I/Q imbalance according to its practical range.
