The ECLS-B assessments of fine and gross motor skills were based on previously validated tests such as the Early Screening Inventory-Preschool or Kindergarten, the Bruininks-Oretsky Test of Motor Proficiency, and the Movement Assessment Battery for Children along with tests adapted for the sister survey ECLS-Kindergarten Cohort [ 26].
Only clinically validated tests should be used in clinical practice.
Tests such validated are meant to substitute the older ones, and based on these newly validated tests, important decisions are made on the candidates' suitability for certain careers, entry into universities, and so on.
Many, including Sherri Bale, co-president and clinical director of GeneDX, a company that specializes in genetic testing for rare diseases, called for the database to be restricted to only highly validated tests.
Once validated, tests for baseline tumour markers which are objective, comparable and easily obtainable, may be incorporated into the primary care algorithm of LABC.
Further studies that analyze the relationships between PF and HRQoL in such populations are needed, although it should be noted that new adapted and validated tests are needed to measure PF in individuals with severe major physical disease.
Specifically, we used two pairs of each population, with pairs within population differing in their behaviour in a series of previously validated tests of stress reactions in chickens [ 6, 15].

Overall, the results are similar to those obtained in a previous smaller study conducted by some of the authors [ 21], and they seem disappointing, especially as the test battery contains established and validated tests often used for assessing fall risk, such as the Timed Up & Go [ 22] or the POMA [ 6].
The test battery consists of four validated tests: the Visual Verbal Learning Test, the Stroop Colour-Word Test, the Letter-Digit Coding Test and the Concept Shifting Task.
