Is it a valid investigation?
In an editorial, The Financial Times said that there should be an independent review of The New York Times's accusation that "the police may have dropped a valid investigation".
Their rhetoric has gone beyond the usual, somewhat harmless, attacks on an opponent's reputation or a valid investigation into their past associations to an incendiary, polarizing "us" versus "them" position whose only aim seems to be to inflame tensions and push supporters further to the right.
While there are some examples of valid investigation – doctors who scam Medicare and lawyers who bribe juries – most of the takedowns these days are wrapped in schoolmarm-ish piety and an eye to make a buck.
Upon completion of a valid investigation report, ISAcreator outputs a compressed 'ISArchive' containing the ISA-Tab-formatted metadata and either the actual data files, or a reference to them, if necessary (e.g. because of their large size), consisting of their address and file name.

The authors point out the LNNB-CR as an instrument potentially valid for investigation of neuropsychological alterations in children with learning issues (Myers et al. 1989).
