The new tool, known as the "redditometro," or income measurer, aims to minimize the wiggle room for evasion by examining a taxpayer's expenditures in dozens of categories, like household costs, car ownership, vacations, gym subscriptions, cellphone usage and clothing.
The deduction can't be taken for personal auto usage, like grocery trips, vacation travel and, importantly, commuting.

Be sure to either deactivate or set the Automatic Vacation Responder to deactivate at the end of its usage.
