Little is currently known about whether fundamental processes such as carbohydrate utilization are performed by a range of organisms in vivo or rather by a limited group of specialized community members.
As insurance providers adopt a population based perspective, the analysis of the pattern of health care utilization must be performed by comparing the actual group of enrolled patients to the actual group of non-participating diabetics in order to estimate real cost effects.
