The coefficient of diffusion was ascertained for the Pt(IV) and Pt II) drugs through the MCL model utilising the parameters of mass transfer coefficient (k), MCL thickness (xM), diffusivity in the medium (D1) and initial drug concentration (CD).
Results of the theoretical investigation utilising the kinetic parameters found by experiment indicated reasonably good agreement between theory and experiment.
