At one of the shows, where I usually sell 10, I sold 2. At another where I usually sell 5, I sold none.
And this last one in Omaha, where I usually sell 15, I sold 4. I hope I don't have to go back to going door to door.
I usually sell secondhand shoes but for the last week I have been selling only American flags.

"So how many copies do you usually sell?" I inquired.
"I can't afford to go out and start knocking Democrats and knocking Republicans, because I'm usually selling a product everybody buys and I don't want to alienate any part of my audience," he said.
