Use the improved, healthy methods.
Because the ocean depth, or bathymetry, is globally surveyed and mapped, the tsunami propagation can be simulated using the actual bathymetry data.
Moreover, the WSEs simulated by the hydrodynamic model using the retrieved bathymetry are in good agreement with the synthetic "truth", exhibiting an RMSE of 27 cm.
For tsunami modeling, we used the digital bathymetry data (GEBCO; Monahan, 2008) to resample and created a 5 arc-min grid.
The SAL effect is investigated using the finest resolution and bathymetry of 1 arcmin.
Using the new system, results improved.
We used the bathymetry grid to interpolate the deformation front between seismic lines, correlating similar topographic features identified on the seismic lines.
