Using the third solution procedure described in "Methodology", the technical economic feasibility evaluation by Homer software was repeated for a wind power plant in Taze-Abad andanothernother plant in Sumar area.
Since the monitoring process should minimally impact the system, we chose to use the second solution.
Instead of creating the abstracted shape using the first optimal solution as done by the previous work, we create the abstracted shape using the highest-ranked optimal solution.
A recently-developed previous shape abstraction framework (Demirci et al. [20]) generates an abstracted shape based on the correspondences between the features of the input shapes, where the correspondences are obtained using the first optimal solution of a well-known transportation problem.
Namely, the localization performance can be improved using the second-step solution since it adopts the error distribution of the first-step estimate.
By using the first approach, the proposed solution is compared with another energy-efficient protocol, namely AS-MAC; then, the differences between the simulated scenario and the analytical one are analyzed.
