When spoken out loud, I've noticed the word "Mixologist" always seems to be accompanied by air quotations -- as if the person they're talking to will mistakenly assume they're using it earnestly.

For people who use it earnestly, it means to do something, usually symbolic and petty, that infuriates liberals out of proportion to the deed to make fools of them.
*I used "partner" there to keep it gender/orientation-neutral, but be aware that, depending on how deep in you are, you may soon be using that word earnestly to describe the other person in your relationship :(.
