On a warm summer's day in Wroclaw, Poland, Darek Fidyka walked across a bridge, using only a frame for support.
First, without context information, it is difficult to determine the underlying phone identity of the current frame using only a short frame of 25 ms. One frame is not enough even for accurate phone classification, so it would not be sufficient for predicting the underlying clean vector.
In contrast, the BLSync protocol uses only one frame in parallel at all readers.
That is, it operates on five vectors coming from the lower part, which are positioned at the {0th,±5th,±10th} frame indices of the original input space (the example of Fig. 7 uses only three frames at {0,±2}).
In order to maintain the computational efficiency, our method uses only 45 (15× 3) features per frame.
A context window of 290 ms was used using only 15 frame features (details in[8]).

By using only two frames of a video sequence, it is possible to efficiently decrease Gaussian noise.
The method is fast for feature extraction; however, it uses only the spatial information of single frames for video content analysis.
Each distinct alignment reported by TBLASTN uses only one of the possible reading frames of the DNA sequence; TBLASTN does not explicitly consider the possibility that an alignment could be extended in another frame.
