The three main barriers to adoption for both users and nonusers were Perceived Ease of Use and Complexity, Perceived Usefulness, and Perceived Behavioral Control.
In relation to the modified UTAUT model, the results among the users showed that Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use and Complexity, and Perceived Behavioral Control were the major barriers to the adoption of robotic-assisted surgery (Table 4).
