Temperature control systems are widely used in chemical, food processing, motor painting [1] and tobacco processing industries, most of which adopt bi-layer control structure with intelligent and more complex thermostats at the bottom, as shown in Fig. 1.
Chemicals are used intensively in chemical processing industries, agriculture and cleaning, and less intensively, in engineering, welding and woodwork.

SS-AISI-304 is commonly used in chemical, marine, food processing and hospital surgical equipments, etc. due to its good chemical and mechanical properties, and it is expected that good-quality deposited PVD-TiN coatings will further improve its surface properties.
Bacteria that can live in the hostile environment of hot springs, for example, have yielded special enzymes that perform beautifully at high temperature, which could be of use in chemical processing.
The implementation of the Montreal Protocol, the Clean Air Act, and the Pollution Prevention Act of 1990 has resulted in increased awareness of organic solvent use in chemical processing.
