TIP OF THE WEEK: The default layout of the Windows 7 Start menu is arranged to give you quick access to the most used folders on the PC.
In the revamped Windows 10 File Explorer interface (previously known as Windows Explorer), there's a new Quick access section that collects together recently opened files and frequently used folders.
If you don't like the new feature, right-click on the Quick access heading on the left and choose Options — the dialog box that pops up lets you start File Explorer with an overview of your PC system ("This PC") rather than the Quick access page, and you can also hide recently used files and frequently used folders.
