Using the same boundary conditions and spherical grains, the self-consistent model is unable to predict this texture transition and only a copper type texture is obtained.

To confirm this point, we have used the same boundary condition as in Ref. [16], and indeed have found the artificial strengthening effects (as shown by the cross symbols (labeled as nanopillars) in Fig. 2).
In fact, numerical integrations using the same boundary conditions show that the lowest-order Hermite solution that exhibits such an oscillation has (lambda= 3); for (lambdaleq2), the predicted region for oscillation, (|x| < sqrt{2lambda+ 1}), does not host two critical points of the same kind, and we call such solutions nonoscillatory.
However, compared to using the same boundaries for morning and evening a significant performance improvement (22.8%) was obtained using two different boundaries for morning and evening.
The boundary between the two dB/dt regimes at high latitudes and at low latitudes changes with the extent of the auroral oval, and we can use the same equatorward boundary of the auroral oval used for "caution/warning/emergency" alerts for the boundary between the two regimes.
Once can therefore use the same absorbing boundary conditions in all layers.
It should be noted that the studies mentioned above do not always use the same frequency values for the boundaries of the different brain rhythms [ 50] and that sometimes the gamma band is divided into different subbands such as low-gamma, middle-gamma, and fast-gamma, with boundaries that can differ between different studies.
Because the two sets of regions had similar boundaries, we use the same region naming convention for both seasons (North, Central, South and West) as indicated in Fig. 1c,d.
