The differences between Zhao's and our approach lie in feature extraction and the use of multiple-detector sets.
For a given averaging time, the path for improved SNR is to use a collection of multiple detectors sampling several independent speckles simultaneously [ 28], i.e., ideally an array of fast single photon detectors.
