In relation to access to, and use of, health services, conceptual frameworks have been developed, such as that of Andersen [ 6- 8], which stress that access to health services should be analysed from the perspective of health policy objectives, the characteristics of the health system, and the results obtained: input (factors affecting service use) and output (health status and health behaviours).
The ecology of medical care model may provide a useful framework to describe the use of health services in people with asthma compared to those without asthma and identify subgroups with apparent gaps in care.
Two conceptual frameworks were adapted from Andersen's behavioural model framework [ 13] for use of health services, to group factors potentially associated with receiving ANC services and place of delivery.
Planning of international or immersion experiences requires consideration of the type of country, the length of time, and design of the program; the use of a service-learning framework; opportunities that require the student to live and work in the community, provide hands-on care, participate in unstructured activities, and make home visits; and a method of reflection.

We have already shown the successful use of web services to connect heterogeneous software frameworks in functional genomics [ 39] and also presented the advantages of a tight integration via the BRIDGE layer [ 40].
The framework put forward in this article for analyzing the environmental impacts of the use of ecosystem services highlights a useful extension of the 'services' metaphor.
The framework proposed in this article links the actual use of ecosystem services with the threats to those services.
