4. Traces by Ernst Bloch Bloch did not write fiction, but some of his early philosophical writings, such as this collection, proceed by use of essays, stories, fairy tales and anecdotes, suitably inconclusive modes to pursue the "not yet" and "to bring light" into the obscurity of the lived moment.
