Mature fish was captured using a seine in the mouth area of the Sutka River (58°1.18′N 38°15.976′E, Upper Volga basin).
At each site, two samples of the fish fauna were collected using a seine net that was 21.5 m long and consisted of two 10 m long wings (6 m of 9 mm mesh and 4 m of 3 mm mesh) and a 1.5 m long bunt made of 3 mm mesh, fished to a depth of 1.5 m and swept an area of ~116 m2.
Organisms were caught using a seine net and electrofishing.
In the other habitats, fish were caught using a seine (4 m long, 4 mm mesh-width).
Fish: We captured YOY perch at each site on 5 July 2012 using a purse seine (mesh size=0.3 cm; depth=1.2 m; length=15.2 m).
