To assess for an association between in-hospital mortality, hemodialysis requirement, ventilator requirement and inotrope requirement we utilized a logistic regression model that adjusted for gender, age, urgency of procedure and American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) score.
Single dose prophylaxis appears to be an excellent regimen compared to multiple day regimens independent of urgency of procedure [ 2- 6].
In addition to incomplete revascularization, age, LVEF, renal dysfunction, and urgency of procedure were significant predictors for 1-year mortality in the multiple Cox regression analysis (Table 2).
