Subsets of MDNs also burst at rates of up to 200 Hz in response to novel or partially unpredicted stimuli [41], [42].
We recorded extracellular activity from 120 dopamine neurons (68 and 52 in monkeys A and B, respectively) during the reward prediction tasks and with unpredicted reward (83 and 37 neurons, respectively).
