The predator/conspecific contrast ratio values were then subtracted for each predator vs conspecific unit comparison, in a manner identical to the distance analysis described above, to determine if there was a correlation between the location of a unit and the specificity of response tuning.
Comparison of the Panbio unit values and of final interpretations (positive or negative using manufacturer's criteria) for all ELISAs (Table 1) demonstrated no significant differences, with the exception of the JEV/Dengue Combo IgM ELISA, which showed significantly different results for plasma and serum for the Panbio unit comparison (P = 0.02) but not for the final interpretation (P = 0.5).

When compared to these excellent intra-unit measures of precision, the mean CV for VO2, VCO2, and VE was ~1.5 % from our inter-unit comparison (mean APE~2.1% %).
