Stubbs died in 1806, leaving his unfinished study "Comparative Anatomical Exposition of the Structure of the Human Body With That of a Tiger and a Common Fowl".
He toured the Andes from Colombia to Peru at the turn of the 19th century, drawing conclusions that would later form the basis of a massive unfinished study of the cosmos.
