Drinking water samples were collected from 120 measurement locations in cast iron water distribution networks in the Netherlands over a period of 17 days under various operational conditions: undisturbed operation, during flushing, and after repair of water mains.
Method: In a Dutch nationwide study, we collected drinking water samples at 120 locations over a period of 17 days under various operational conditions, such as undisturbed operation, during flushing of pipes, and after a mains repair, and analyzed these samples for PAHs.
Hence, it was designed a system for continuous bacterial inoculation, allowing an undisturbed operation of the bench scale WTP.

The primary objective of the MSR is to ensure an undisturbed operation of the spectrometer in terms of external magnetic fields from high-field magnets at neighboring beamlines and from other external devices.

The computational domain is taken to be sufficiently large to have an area undisturbed by the system operation, and it is thus 14.0 m wide and 15.0 m deep, as shown in Fig. 2.
