He would reverse the understanding developed over generations about the need for Government to stay out of people's religious life.
It will also be useful if a deeper understanding is developed about any groups or segments of the population that have varied opinion about bioenergy and to target these segments using appropriate messages and media content [11, 14, 23].
How does understanding develop?
We classify these findings as misconceptions, as they can be described as "scientifically inaccurate understanding that students have developed about natural phenomena" (Andrews et al., 2012).
(2011) characterized misconceptions as "scientifically inaccurate understandings that students have developed about natural phenomena," while simultaneously suggesting there could be additional and possibly "more appropriate" ways to represent students' erroneous ideas (pp. 418 419).
In this report, we use the original term, "misconception," although we recognize that there are other, perhaps more appropriate, ways to refer to the scientifically inaccurate understandings that students have developed about natural phenomena (e.g., Smith et al., 1993; Chi, 2005).
An understanding began to develop about the nature of cometary tails, with the ion (Type I) tails resulting from the interaction of ionized molecules with some form of "corpuscular radiation," possibly electrons and protons, from the Sun, and the dust (Type II) tails coming from solar radiation pressure on the fine dust particles emitted from the comet.
