Morrisons said underlying profits before tax would be higher in the second half of the year.
Revenues rose 21% to £677m, while underlying profits before tax were £47m, up from £25m last year.
Revenues climbed 23% to £2.6bn, propelling underlying profits before tax to £475m, ahead of City forecasts.
Underlying profits before tax climbed nearly 19% to £44m in the year to the end of March.
However banks will still make underlying profits before provisions that can help absorb losses.
Tui, based in Hanover, Germany, reported underlying earnings before interest, tax and amortisation (EBITA) of €180m (£155m) for its third quarter to 30 June, up 1.1%.
