A positive value represents an induction of gene expression under iron depleted conditions, and a negative value represents a repression of gene expression under iron depleted conditions.
These results further complemented the earlier observation of increased expression of these proteins under iron depleted conditions, observed in immunoblot analyses (Fig. 3A, lane 4).
