"Now he's saying: 'If I use a different criterion I find that the uncorrected data can yield a bias'.
Results show that the application of the complete correction algorithm improves significantly the accuracy of radar rainfall estimates: Fractional Standard Error is decreased by 20%, Correlation Coefficient is increased by 24% relative to uncorrected data.
These approaches were applied to the experimental data of Clinical Proteomic Tumor Analysis Consortium CPTACC) Verification Work Group Study 7 and show that the corrected measurements provide more accurate quantitation than the uncorrected data.
It is also noteworthy that quartiles were almost similar with corrected and uncorrected data (Fig. 5).
Using these uncorrected data would have introduced large-scale residuals of about 10 nT (Nils Olsen, personal communication).

The top panel represents uncorrected data, while the remaining three panels show elevation values with a gradually increasing (top to bottom) correction time offset, tdiff.
While the elevation and virtual height for the uncorrected data show two apparently independent populations, the phase clearly demonstrates a single population "wrapped" around Ψ 0 − 2π.
In Fig. 7a, we show statistical analysis of the original (uncorrected) data and present two-dimensional range histograms of the phase (top), elevation (middle) and virtual height (bottom).
For uncorrected data, %SDunif, SORair, and SORwater were almost similar for all acquisitions (approximately equal to 3.4, 0.2, and 0, respectively).
As expected, the uncorrected data clearly exhibit a reduced mean recovery (down to a recovery coefficient of about 0.6 for the 3 mL lesions).
