The launch brought together key stakeholders from across government, the UN, development partners (donors), civil society and the private sector.
Highlighting the importance of this multi-lateral agreement, Honourable Garba-Jahumpa stressed that "Working with the UN development partners together, we can make a significant impact on the lives of vulnerable people in the country".
Although the Government over the years made commendable efforts with support from the UN, development partners, civil society organisations and other actors to address a number of development challenges, many of them need further attention.
Today's launch brought together representatives from 14 government ministries, the United Nations (UN), development partners, civil society organisations and the private sector to reaffirm commitments to SUN in Myanmar.

Over 200 people, from 16 countries, including government ministers, parliamentarians, civil society organizations, youth, women, United Nations (UN) agencies and development partners are expected to attend.

The review process engaged, and is intended to address the following stakeholders: Government of Papua New Guinea; UN Agencies (both in PNG and at HQs); Development partners in PNG (representatives in PNG and at HQ level); and Other key stakeholders in PNG (academia, civil society, etc).
