Prototypes of THGEM-based photon detectors able to efficiently detect Cherenkov photons have been built, tested in laboratory and operated in test beam exercises with typical gain of 105 and time resolution better than 10 ns.
It has been found that the noise figure for typical gain values of about 30 dB can be very close to the quantum limit, whereas significantly larger noise figure values result for small amplifier gains.
The response of THGEMs with various geometries under different conditions has been studied and photon detector prototypes have been built, tested in laboratory and operated during test beam runs providing a typical gain of 105 and a time resolution of better than 10 ns.
A typical gain of 5 dB is obtained for CyRMGS (compared to RMGS).
The elements of the receiver array were two omnidirectional biconical antennas separated by 1.0 with a typical gain of 0 dBi.
One can also notice that a typical gain of 10 dB is observed for the simulations, where x is a linear combination of P = 10 dictionary vectors for correlated signals (see Figure 10 (left)).

Typical gains are on the order of 4 decibels per centimetre, and overall gains are 40 to 60 decibels for helix tubes of practical sizes and applications.
Previous studies demonstrated that the TM1 and TM2 may be responsible for gating the channel, and truncation of these two helixes would induce the channel to open spontaneously and present the typical gain-of-function behaviours when expressed in the living cells (Bottcher et al., 2015).
Typical gain-of-function exon 11 KIT mutations were found in 12 of 17 patients, including two point mutations (cases 1 and 3), three point mutations and deletions (cases 11, 13, and 17), and seven deletions (cases 2, 7, 9, 10, 14, 15, and 16) (see Table 1).
The first two scenarios are shown in Figure 2: a clustered missense mutation landscape with no truncating mutations, implying a typical gain-of-function OG like KRAS; and diffuse and predominant truncating mutations with no missense pattern like APC, underlying a loss-of-function TSG.
This calculation transforms individual scores relative typical gains made by other study participants having similar pre-treatment scores.
