We focus on two types of hub proteins: Multi hubs, which interact with their partners through different interfaces, and Singlish hubs, which do so through a single interface.
In this paper we aim to more fully characterize the structural embedding of both types of hub regions in brain networks and to determine whether our results can be extended beyond the brain of a single species.
These lines of evidence suggest a profound lack of consensus about the evolutionary rate differences between different types of hub proteins.
