To assess whether these different measures of performance can be tied to specific neural processes, we correlated for the coherence trials the accuracy-speed differences in d' and c with the accuracy-speed differences in brain activity (importantly, d' and c were uncorrelated with one another, r = −0.09, p = 0.78).
