We classify the current trends of trust establishment in Cloud computing.
We have classified the current trends of trust establishment and identified their limitations by means of a use case where a healthcare provider face the challenge of selecting the most trustworthy Cloud provider.
The trend of investment trust portfolios over the next year will be towards a much more conservative policy.
Figure 1, which presents the ANES Trust in Government and External Efficacy Indices from 1958-2012, illusthetes the broader trend of declining trust and the corresponding decline in external efficacy (the belief that individuals can influence government).
The P-values for trend across levels of trust were also statistically significant (P<0.005 for all models), suggesting a dose-response effect.

Figure 2 visualizes the current trends for trust establishment from the perspective of the healthcare provider.
One or both of these trends obtained for measures of trust, benefit entitlement, and competence such that newcomers were viewed especially negatively and, sometimes, longest-tenure veterans especially positively (Table 1; see Fig. 1 for example plots).
Hence, the approaches followed in current trends (cf. Section "Current trends for trust establishment") are considered complimentary for trust establishment.
