If you check on Google Trends, the search trends of "mechanical keyboards" — just those two words — you will see that the demand has been exponentially increasing in the last years.
Increasing trends of mechanical threshold were observed, and they reached significance at all dosages on post-SNL day 7 (P < 0.05 at dosage 15 μ g and P < 0.001 at dosages 20 μ g, 25 μ g, and 30 μ g) in comparison to control group.
After intrathecal administration of BQ-123, elevated trends of mechanical thresholds were seen in all BQ-123 drug groups as shown in Figures 1, 2, and 3. BQ-123 at dose of 15 μg induced slight elevation of threshold when compared to the control group 30 minutes and 1 hour after intrathecal administration of BQ-123 on day 4 to day 6, but the results were not statistically significant.
Nevertheless, high-throughput mechanical characterization data from combinatorial micro-scale samples still reflect the dependence trend of the mechanical properties on compositions and microstructure, which facilitates the understanding of intrinsic materials behavior and the fast screening of bulk mechanical properties.
Blending of pure SF increased the flexibility of nanofiber in our experiment, and previous reports also revealed a similar trend in improvement of mechanical properties upon blending of SF with other materials to yield employable blended biomaterials [21, 23].
Higher trend of elevation of mechanical threshold was demonstrated at dose of 25 μg throughout the time course of experiment, compared with that at doses of 15 μg and 20 μg.
From the BQ-123 groups with different dosages (15 μg, 20 μg, 25 μg, and 30 μg), we found that drug group with higher dosage showed higher trend of elevation in mechanical threshold.
Interestingly, addition of GH alone showed a trend of decreasing the mechanical properties of healing ligaments and hematomas in the healing site, further supporting the concept of a negative role for GH in ligament healing, even though combined supplementation of GH+IGF-I has been reported to increase serum IGF-I levels more than adding IGF-I alone [ 61, 62].
Further studies will be needed to confirm these findings and evaluate the observed trend toward reduced duration of mechanical ventilation and length of ICU stay in patients receiving furosemide and albumin.
