We examine the degradation process in two cork oak woodlands, resulting from distinct disturbances, wildfire and oak mortality, aimed at evaluating the changes, trends and deviations of the spatial attributes of these woodlands as they move from an initial (less disturbed ecosystem) to a final state (more disturbed ecosystem).
To facilitate an understanding of the underlying mechanism for these trends and deviations, we introduce the trade volume-GDP profile (TGP) for a country, which is a scatter plot of trade volume to each trading partner of the country with respect to the partner's GDP (Figs. 4 and S2).
Likelihood ratio tests were used to assess the significance of overall associations, linear trends and deviations from linearity.
