Complete plastid genome sequences of Cuscuta obtusiflora, Cuscuta exaltata, and Ipomoea purpurea were used to design primers for this study, assess presence of non-group IIA introns within Cuscuta, to eliminate the possibility of gene transpositions in cases of PCR-detected intron and matK loss, and to verify the presence of only the expected loci for genes examined in this study.
In cases of recent transposition bursts, insertion allele frequencies will not be at equilibrium because there will not have been sufficient time to drift to moderate or high allele frequencies, even under strict neutrality.
The risk of intubation in the postnatal period (OR: 4.64, 95% CI: 1.40 - 15.32) was greater in cases of Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome or Transposition of the Great Arteries diagnosed after birth when compared to those diagnosed antenatally.
For example, what is generally observed in plants is a large accumulation of transposon transcripts accompanied by a moderate increase in the rate of transposition and in some cases even no increase (see Ito 2013 for discussion).

Results: Laparoscopic ovarian transposition in women <40 years old is associated with preservation of ovarian function in 88.6% of cases.
Transposition is mutagenic and organisms have evolved mechanisms to repress the activity of their endogenous TEs. Transposition in somatic cells is very low, but recent evidence suggests that it may be derepressed in some cases, such as cancer development.
Although the latter mode is currently not well explained by a molecular model, we have assumed that single tRNA transpositions have occurred in all cases in which tandem duplication and random deletion seems to be an implausible explanation, e.g. when only one tRNA gene found a new position distant from its original position, or on the other strand.
Conjugation with pHB14 plasmid and induction of the transposition in S. meliloti produced approx. 3.22 × 104 transconjugant colonies harboring the fluorescent marker with the transposition efficiency of 0.8%.
This is a clinical condition of mixed transposition in the same hemi-arcade: the combination of a complete transposition and another incomplete or coronary transposition a situation that has not been reported in the literature.
