Literature Review primarily focus on Lean implementation in manufacturing sector like automotive, machine tools, heavy industries, aerospace etc. and secondarily on other sectors like supply chain management, transportation, relationship management, service, etc.
Some of the factors identified include leadership and training (e.g. mentoring, continuing education, supervision, monitoring), workplace infrastructure (e.g. buildings, equipment, supplies, reference material) and living conditions (e.g. housing, transportation, relationship with community).
