To predict if loss of CaSR in CRC is linked to tumorigenesis, we performed correlation analyses between CaSR expression and genes regulating neoplastic transformation in tumor samples (mainly grade 2) from 54 CRC patients (Table 1), compared with samples of the adjacent non-tumorous mucosa from the same patient.
These results contribute to the understanding of martensitic transformation in nanocrystalline samples and of the fundamental limits of miniaturization of these alloys.
