RNA-seq permits genome-wide transcription analysis for novel transcript discovery.
Differential transcription analysis was performed on the 13105 transcripts showing a transcription signal higher than 0.5 RPKM in all strains.
Here we report 4,978 adult female A. gambiae salivary gland transcripts, as defined by oligonucleotide microarray gene transcription analysis.
