Ms. Nourry is perhaps best known in the United States for her work "The Spermbar," a critique of sperm banks that featured a food stand where visitors could pick the traits of their future child, which were then matched with ingredients that were mixed and served as a "genetic cocktail".
Through careful selection for or against traits, all of those methods aim at improving the heritable traits of the future child, in particular by eliminating genetic disease traits.
