These common factors are: CHW's education, distance of residence from work place, socio-cultural status, training, role clarity, job skills, infrastructure and job support, supervision, incentives, clarity on career progression, affiliation to a government department and perceptions and myths within the client community (1).
Challenges included users' low awareness of HFMCs, lack of training and clarity in roles among HFMCs, and some indications of strained relations with in-charges.
Key factors influencing HFMC functioning in other low and middle-income countries - beyond basic HFMC characteristics, training, and clarity in roles and responsibilities - are HFMC members' motivation and job satisfaction [ 3, 4, 6, 11].
This training provides conceptual clarity to the teachers and orients them on the intricacies of dealing with young boys and girls as individuals.
Based on the analysis of these factors and lessons learnt from this study, the two concerned departments (health and DWCD) should prioritise corrections in the following areas: ASHA selection, role clarity, training, infrastructure, monitoring, supervision, and incentive systems.
Importantly, this approach helped to simulate the practice/service delivery that the pharmacists were being trained for, resulting in a high level of engagement from the pharmacists, clarity about training outcomes, and greater confidence instilled following the training.
Nevertheless, this study indicated that "it is feasible to score constructed-responses in a reliable way across countries, given then conditions such as the scoring rubric clarity, appropriate training and ongoing monitoring of reliability, are all put in place".

Attention is needed in process implementation and management, particularly in relation to staff training, as well as clarity in guidance and communication within and between organisations.
