Mandopop idol Wang Leehom released his latest single "12 Zodiacs" last month through a DRM-free paid download on his Web site for $1 US, a price that includes the audio track, digital booklet and cover art.
"We would do a CD with two or three bonus tracks, a booklet with details of the band, and that kind of worked.
The only clues come in the titles for the digital booklet track, like "20th-Century Masters: Bartok, Ravel, Debussy".
Along with the eight audio tracks a digital booklet is available to download with the album that contains information about each of the recordings origins and reference photographs.
I'd even tracked down the booklet printed by Deborah Irmas and the Los Angeles Center for Creative Photography, who had put together the show that I'd seen.
*The contents of the 18 CD's are listed and indexed in the booklet, but track listings are not printed on the paper slipcovers for each individual CD (or on the CD's themselves), making it impossible to locate specific cuts without thumbing through the 20-page-long table of contents.

Released on August 20, 2008 by Roadrunner Records, the album was published in two versions: the standard album in a Compact Disc case and a special edition packaged in a six-fold digipak containing three bonus tracks, a 40 page booklet, and a bonus DVD with a documentary of the album's recording.
