In the transition regime between spiking and bursting, the voltage traces associated to the torus canards gradually morph between these two types of behavior.
In particular, we will show that the headless torus canards correspond to amplitude modulation in the voltage; the maximal torus canard corresponds to the voltage trace for which bursting first arises; and, the torus canards with heads have voltage traces associated to them that are similar to those seen in the bursting regime.
