In the European Union more than 12m people work in manufacturing and services related to cars and other vehicles, around 6% of the total employed population; the equivalent figure for America is 4.5% of private-sector employment, or 8m jobs.
One of these telling statistics is the "U-6 unemployment rate," a more expansive measure that counts the "total unemployed, plus all persons marginally attached to the labor force, plus total employed part time for economic reasons, as a percent of the civilian labor force".
The key thing the company will do differently is increasing the number of staff, by roughly an extra 1,000 people, bringing the total employed on the contract to around 1,500 to help clear the backlog of approximately 600,000 people waiting to be assessed and to allow them to treat claimants with greater sensitivity.
Among the total employed at top Silicon Valley tech companies, 47 percent were white, 30percentt were women, 41percentt were Asian American, 3percentt were black and 6percentt were Hispanic.

By analysing the data about the employment by sector of the studied area, persons employed in the services represent 84%% of the total employed persons, about 14%% of resident persons work in the industry, and only 2%% in the agriculture.
However, during that period, the number of workers in manufacturing constituted a small proportion of the total employed labor force, which shows that the mode of employment was based on the agricultural sector.
