This article explores these topics using state-of-the-art examples in key clinical areas, highlighting applications likely to impact clinical practice within the next 5 years (table 1).
Topics of the discussions are, for example, the different types of reasoning of the OPs when deciding to initiate work modifications, what kind of work modifications are needed and can be made for workers with musculoskeletal pain and depressive symptoms in different types of work, and which factors facilitate or hinder the use of work modifications.
