It is a book that must be read as it says so much about the topic of learning disorders, a topic that most books, like most people, don't ever dare venture into.
There is much emotion and confusion around the topic of learning disabilities today.
While many articles exist on the topic of learning styles, scant data is available that measures how much instructional time is devoted in the main to each modality.
In situ simulation is fairly new and involves conducting simulations in the actual patient care unit, and based on the much-discussed topic of learning in context, in situ simulation is expected to increase fidelity and thereby learning.
As shown in Fig. 14, ROS merges necessary information (number of learners under a same topic, number of learning resources under every topic, and the number of shared learning resources and associations among topics) of the personal topic maps and presents them in the form of a community topic map.
The authors of this paper are involved in work that will lead to more workshops, community exchange, and awareness raising within this particular topic domain of learning analytics.
